So what happened after the war?
Along the lines, soldiers from all sides rejoice. Rejoice upon hearing from their officers that the war had ended. They were free from the bondage of the army, Free to go home and carry on with their lives.
Yet, the lives of the men who fought and survived the war would be forever changed and their memories would be scarred by the bloodshed
The war is over
The face of Europe would be changed forever too, decided upon by bitter men who saw their countries through the largest war on the planet.
The old victors of Britain and France that sat at Versailles were ascendant, defeated nations were humiliated and stripped of their territory while the new nations of Europe now had to forge their own destiny.
For better or for worse, the lines of Europe were redrawn and the wheels of history turned yet again.
